Accounting and software development to automate and/or support accounting functions. Handling month-end close functions, booking most journal entries to maintain accurate financial reporting on the balance sheet and income statement.
Accounting. Primarily report-building to support accounting functions using a combination of python, M (Microsoft PowerQuery language) and SQL. Responsible for monthly P&L determination and posting for over 400 active trading accounts covering over 50 unique trading strategies across seven clearing firms.
Initially part of the Exelon Leadership Development program until Exelon's 2021 divestiture of Constellation Energy, at which point permanently affirmed in ComEd General Accounting. Handled accounting functions related to, but not limited to, amortization of prepaid assets, land/equipment lease analysis, accounts payable management, and coordination with auditors.
